Based on a famous children's book character, Madeline finds herself separated from her classmates at a circus. She is found by one of the circus gypsies and a whole adventure ensues.
Richmond Academy of Ballet has collaborated with Puppets Off Broad Street to create masks for their Fantastical Beasts portion of the circus.
Come see this original ballet, where children aged 3 - professional share the stage. There is magic and fun for all!
While Madame Olga is a witty, funny, inspiring, and caring character, before Michael Cusumano created her, he was the youngest male dancer to ever join American Ballet Theater and a very successful dancer on the international stage. Throughout his career, he used to share Madame Olga with his fellow dancers backstage. Once he left the pressures of his professional life, he decided to share Madame Olga, to revive his own passion for the craft and to remind everyone why they started dancing in the first place.
