Nadyne Bispo

Faculty Member

Nadyne Bispo is originally from Brazil and began her dance training at the age of 3 at Balé Jovem de São Vicente, where she studied the Vaganova technique. She graduated in 2015 with numerous awards and honors. Throughout her early career, Nadyne represented Brazil in several international competitions, including Tanzolymp in Berlin and Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) in New York, where she earned scholarships and company offers from institutions such as Boston Ballet and Atlanta Ballet. She attended both companies' Summer Intensive Programs.

Nadyne went on to dance professionally with Atlanta Ballet under the direction of Gennadi Nedvigin. During her time there, she performed in major productions including Yuri Possokhov’s Nutcracker, Giselle, Don Quixote, Firebird, Serenade by George Balanchine, La Sylphide, Coco Chanel: The Life of a Fashion Icon by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and portrayed the Enchantress in Beauty and the Beast.

As her performance career began to wind down, Nadyne discovered a deep passion for teaching. She began teaching at Atlanta Ballet School under the leadership of Sharon Story, and later worked with TLC Studio, Fleet Dance Coaching LLC, and Norma’s Academy of Dance, where she made meaningful connections within the community—especially with dancers of color.

Having spent her entire professional career in Atlanta, Georgia, Nadyne is thrilled to begin her next chapter at Richmond Academy of Ballet. She looks forward to sharing her love for ballet with the Richmond, Virginia community and inspiring dancers to reach their fullest potential while cultivating a deep joy for the art form.
